    Women's Rights through CEDAW

EnGendeRights has advanced women’s rights through the CEDAW Inquiry Procedure with the request for inquiry on reproductive rights violations in the Philippines submitted to the CEDAW Committee. The request for inquiry was a collaborative effort of the Philippine-based Task Force CEDAW Inquiry (with EnGendeRights as co-convenor), Center for Reproductive Rights, and IWRAW-Asia Pacific where the CEDAW Committee found the Philippines to have committed reproductive rights violations. This inquiry was historic being the second inquiry conducted by the CEDAW Committee throughout the whole world.

Recommendations from CEDAW Committee communications are also discussed in these resources.
