Proposed Bill Decriminalizing Abortion
The bill will save the lives of women, girls, and persons with diverse gender identities who are unable to access safe abortion and are at risk of dying and suffering disability from unsafe abortion complications. When passed into law, this important legislation will save a lot of lives given wide access to safe abortion, emergency abortion care, and post-abortion care.
